Social Studies: Similarities and Differences between Cultures

Activity: Investigate the following features of the Mayan, Aztec and Incan civilizations: government, writing, art and architecture. Then choose one theme to compare and contrast between two of the three cultures.

Alternately, investigate similarities and differences between the culture of your country and another country in the world, using the same topics: government, writing, art and architecture.

Tip: Use a slideshow app to discuss two similarities between the cultures on one slide and two differences between the cultures on another. Use the Internet to find photos that help illustrate your point. You can import from most slideshow apps into Seesaw by saving your slideshow as a PDF or video.
